👿

my contract with verizon is up a month before this comes out. this phone is tempting but i have decided no for the following reasons.

1. no 3g?

2.if i lost it i would kill myself!not only would i lose my cell phone but my ipod and pda all in one!!!!

3.biggest reason! CINGULAR! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I HAD AT+T AND STAYED WHEN THEY CHANGED OVER. I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY DROPPED CALLS, CRAP RECEPTION, HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!!!

i understand the gsm preference for those who go out of the states but I'm staying with verizon. maybe they have there problems but with them i can actually make phone calls with out bending into yoga like positions to get reception. i'm sorry i love apple , love ipods but cingular...dea...

ya but the problem is fixed cingular doesnt have a lot of dropped calls..actually they have the fewest of any network now, and now they are back to being with AT&T, and if u did lose your phone, just make sure you have insurance on it, or i beleive apple will have an applecare option for the phone for a 3 year warranty if anything happens to it...

and about 3G be happy its not included your battery time would be down to 30 minutes on that thing with all the apps like ipod and internet it runs...its a sick phone you should get it, haha

I dropped Verizon for Cingular about two years ago. I haven't had a single dropped call. And, unlike Verizon, I can actually make calls from my office.

I've had a couple of times when the call wouldn't go through and a few with compromised sound (my office is on the 34th floor in downtown Dallas - it's cell phone hell); but I've never had one dropped, even when driving.

exactly, friggin cdma all you need is a roof and a flouresent light somewhere nearby and you can kiss your cdma signal good bye! I also went from VW to Cingy, each had their benifits. I perfer Cingular. Outside of cost, I do admit they are a tad expensive, I have no bitch. It's nice to be able to walk inside buildings and make phonecalls. With VerizonWireless it was nice to be 15 miles out to sea and pick up florida towers off a cruise ship. Unfortunatly, I'm on cruise ships alot less then in malls, work or home.
