So Former AT&T customer who are now Cingular customers are now AT&T customer?

I like AT&T better, Cingular reminds me of a drug that causes headache, ear infection, sore throat, and upper respiratory infection.

so true, i had an AT&T wireless TDMA phone and when Cingular took over, I switched to Verizon 😡

It's not going to be the same AT&T Wireless, but since AT&T owns them now, it will be a little better. I might get AT&T Wireless again because I love them so much

What about the former AT&T customers who are now considered cingular customers, but do not have "cingular" phones and plans still.. they may be using GSM phones and AT&T Wireless plans?

Are these customers going to be forced to switch still to something else? Or will they be now allowed to keep their phone and plan, or at least plan now due to the name change?
