Guard Changes At Verizon Wireless

How is stating that Verizon rips you off on data usage basing. Its the truth. There is no reason that Verizon is charging more then double what Sprint is for the same service.

The reason they do it is because they can, and many , many people see the value of VZW's service.

VZW has been said by many wall street analysts to be one of the best run companies in the US. I have a feeling thsat they will continue to be run about the same way they are now, and will continue to change as needed

the only thing verizon need to changed is....just stop locking the phone and add a line g s m phones and they will be the best' they already have the best service the best cdma line of phone s and the best cust services so adios sprint sorry cingular may buy you soon 🤣

This has gotta be the dumbest post on phonescoop. Your post doesn't make any sense from top to bottom. If you didn't use "they" every other word in the paragraph, it would convey your message probably 1000 times better than what it is right now. It also doesn't help that your paragraph is one sentence long and that this thread has nothing to do with cingular or sprint... except the part of verizon charging more than sprint.

To bad the article had nothing to do with how much verizon charges for data. As far as it charging more than Sprint sure it does because it can get away with it. It is a business after all.

Yeah smart guy the article didn't specifically mention data rates, but did say what Verizon should do with a new man at the helm. I said he should stop charging so much for data, HAPPY NOW.

Verizon would never add GSM.

No one said that is was right simply that they can get away with it because there are people willing to pay for it. Since when do businesses worry about what is right or wrong. They only worry about making money. That is what businesses do, at least if they are any good, they make money.

In the USA we are a capitlaist society, that means businesses have freedom to charge any amount that they want to for service and consumers have the right to buy from any business that they feel provides the best value. I do understand that some people do not see the increase...

You haven't said whether or not you've tried VZW service, but that's another discussion. The problem with your theory on how much better and cheaper Sprint is, is that quarter after quarter the numbers just aren't backing it up. VZW has the lowest churn of any carrier in the US. This has been true for years going all the way back to the Bell Atlantic Mobile days. That means that folks who subscribe to VZW service like it (a lot) and tend to stay with it (a long time). Consumers are pretty saavy....if they didn't feel that the service was worth the money they would move on. Now, speaking of moving on....Sprint on the other hand has had the highest churn rates of any of the 4 major carriers the last 3 quarters and has traditionally had at leas...

finally someone who posts comments commenting on both companies and doesnt bash the other... agreed verizon is a good service... unfortunately my experience with verizon for the 2 year i was stuck with them was horrible... i have been with sprint for 3 year now and have not had nearly the problems i had with verizon... i had even at one point thought of switching back to verizon to give it another go because they had a phone that i wanted but price wise and service wise it was not a wise decision... everyone has there horror stories and glory stories... sprint main backing it the large accoutn that have service with them... consumer is what kills sprint.. their consumer customer service needs some work... this is the reason churn is so high ...
