I thought that the writer of this article errored in comparing the Pro to the Diamond. They should've compared it to the phone it's replacing: The HTC Mogul. The Pro is a much slicker version, and I'm glad to see it!

The first to be released will be over seas Asia/Europe and those are going to be GSM but the Models being released to the states will be CDMA. Check it out on HTC.com thats where I got my info

word on the (blog)streets is that the Touch Pro just passed FCC certification. an HTC device with model number "RAPH800" has now popped up in the FCC filing system, featuring CDMA with EV-DO on the 850 and 1900MHz bands which means it is defiantly coming to Sprint in the near future.

It's also replacing the TyTnII, AKA ATT Tilt. My guess is it'll come out 3rd qtr.
