does anyone know what carrier its going to come out for?...and possibly when?

The phone is supposed to support HSDPA so I will assume that when it comes to NA, it'll be ATT. I wouldn't even venture to guess in Euro/Asia markets, though.

It's scheduled to be released for sprint this year, along with the Diamond.

I thought that the writer of this article errored in comparing the Pro to the Diamond. They should've compared it to the phone it's replacing: The HTC Mogul. The Pro is a much slicker version, and I'm glad to see it!

word on the (blog)streets is that the Touch Pro just passed FCC certification. an HTC device with model number "RAPH800" has now popped up in the FCC filing system, featuring CDMA with EV-DO on the 850 and 1900MHz bands which means it is defiantly coming to Sprint in the near future.

It's also replacing the TyTnII, AKA ATT Tilt. My guess is it'll come out 3rd qtr.

What I'm most eXcited about this new one is the VGA resolution, and the addition of HSUPA.
