Beating everyone to the punch vs. losing a lot more customers than everyone else = Sprint/Nextel.

Pretty scary huh ? Think about it for a second. Who cares if you beat everyone to the punch if you have as terrible of a 3rd quarter as Sprint/Nextel...how many more executives do you need to lose before you strategically change the way to approach the market place.

I find it interesting that Verizon fans always talk about how many customers they have and how much money the company is making. Not that means anything to them personally. Verizon Wireless is not a public company, no stock to trade or make a personal profit from. Word I hear is it will probably never go public unless Verizon Communications buys out Vodaphone's share in Verizon Wireless which is unlikely.
These forums are about technology not "My Carrier is Bigger & Better Then Yours". Remember competition is a good thing or we'd be in Europe with no choice but GSM. Not that that's a bad thing, but you have to admit we have many technology, carrier and equipment choices here in the United States!

Let me see if I get this right.
It doesn't matter what capabilities you offer to your customers, nor if your network is second only to SK Telecom's. It's about the sarcasm and absolute stupidity of these posts.
When is Verizon going to have network wide rev a.? What are Verizon's 4g plans? Why does Verizon not even have rev0 in my rural market and Sprint does?
Following all of the logic I see here Verizon should be ashamed of their coverage because they have had 10 more years to build out than Sprint and T-Mobile have and are only marginally better.
Sprint will have a few more bad quarters due to the merger with Nextel but it won't last forever. Laugh now like the AT&T Wireless people did in 1999. Where is AT&T Wireless now? Where will...
