Effect phones?
Now does this affect any of thge phones for sprint that have powervison?
I have the Fusic? Will the data speeds be faster now or?
Can someone fill me in on this? thank you!
...
Nope, a phone will have to come out and specifically say it is Rev. A capable.
...
It could make for more consistent rates on non-Rev A devices as more air cards are Rev A it could clear up non Rev. A bandwidth. We will see!
...
Is Rev A Alot faster the Rev O or just slightly?
...
Only slightly faster downloads, uploads go from 100 to 400k on average so it really is good for those with aircards who want to send files...
...
OK so no big difference with dowloading data comparing Rev O to Rev A, but the uploads is faster.
...
i thought download speeds were supposed to almost double? or did i just mix that up with upload speeds?
...
i dont know, thats what im trying to clearify as well lol
...
Slight increase on theoretical download speeds, you probably won't see it unless you are really close to a cell site. Big increase in upload speeds. Also big improvement in latency, meaning stuff like PTT and VoIP will work reasonable well with Rev A instead of just stinking up the joint with Rev 0.
