Now if only Sprint had decent NATIVE coverage ... it may be worth while. Here in So. Cal, I'd be roaming quite a bit, and my Nexthell drops out all the time.

Sprint is currently the worst performing company in this industry, period. Jealousy? Hardly. But I'll leave you alone for now (i'm sure i'll see u in the vzw forms anyways, troll) so you can get excited about this meaningless feature and wait and see how Sprint's net adds sky rocket because of it this quarter. Maybe they will be able to add more customers in the entire quarter than Cing and Vzw does in 2 weeks this time.

I love how poeple will "formulate" these "facts"... 🙄

Anyway, another thread about something new a company is doing turns into a carrier flame war. Congrats to all the 5 year olds who argue for "their" carrier.

No, that is bashing another company.
Defending it would be to point out the positive things your side has, rather than the negative things the other side has.

For example in kindergarten, if someone called you a poopyhead,
if your response is "oh yeah, you are a farty-pants" (which is what you did) then you were bashing the other person
if your response is "at least I get better grades" (which is what I did) then you were defending yourself.

Ok, i can think of plenty of others, in fact there are so many poor performing companies being purchased and acquired that there are too many too list.

T-Mobile has more churn.
Sprint is the most profitable because of its data applications.
Verizon doesn't allow unlimited data (once you hit a certain limit, you get a nasty letter about it) and they charge for detail bills.
Cingular is struggling to keep its legacy TDMA subscribers by forcing them to migrate to GSM, but guess where alot of them are going instead?

That covers the top 4 and the bottom 20 or so.

So, how are they the worst performing?

You're absolutely right, there should be stiff competition between Sprint and Cricket this quarter. 🙄

And again I say, lets see if Sprint can add more net adds in an entire quarter than Cingy and VZW does in two weeks.

Net adds metrics are skewed because of sub-prime customers. Remember that there are radio shack reps that will activate illegal aliens with a $150 deposit each for two lines, and then fraud management comes in a deactivates these lines, which counts against churn. Then these customers will go to another store and do it again under a different name, and possibly a fake SSN, which starts the fraud process over again.

Also, customers with no credit only had the same deposit and when they didn't pay their bill because they had no money, this also counted against sprint in churn too.

To counter this, Sprint raised the deposit for certain categories, this will affect some net adds, but will reduce churn, because someone will go to cricket f...

The only reason Sprint jumped the gun with their Rev A launch is because they're trying to turn the focus away from their overall horrible performace.

How many Verizon posters, stickers, and valentines do you have on your wall? I mean, seriously. You can't possibly be THAT obsessed that you constantly talk like this.

I said two simple sentences about Sprint. Never once did I mention Vzw or claim it was perfect. But I guess I can understand why your a little testy seeing how Sprint's data is the ONLY thing it has going for it.

well, i guess Sprint's approach is to base the structure of the company on wireless data, which is actually the next step in wireless communications, no matter what other companies say, VoIP, and video conferencing has been on our minds from ages ago. I do agree that voice and other areas still need a lot of improvement, but from what i'm seeing here, i have my hopes up for sprint.

first of all all vzwsim stated was that sprint only leads in data which is totally correct.

it was yall who basically started admitting sprint sucks. which it does so I won't argue on that point.

as for the radioshack thing that was just another reason we got rid of them. oh yah, we were still leading in churn.

our rev a will be better and more stable than your own because we are taking the time to ensure it works. and I can't wait till yall drop iden and we get 20% of your current subscribers!

as for vzw lackeys are serious is because we don't hate our jobs and become disgruntled because we hate our own network.

lastly I want to remind u again that u sprint peoples are the ones who acknowledged that sprint sucks. maybe no...
