Review: Samsung Instinct
Is IMAP with SSL supported?
Thanks in advance.
Outlook contacts yes, but not calendar as of right now, but will be soon.
As long as it has its own Calendar/Appointments app.
I have read from other reviewers that different apps have different default orientation so you have to keep turning the Instinct from Portrait to Landscape to Portrait, etc.

Really it's something you get used to pretty quick.
This phone isn't a PDA, and neither is the iPhone or Glyde or any of these style of phones.
By a more loose definition (like the one on this site's glossary) you might be able to say that pretty much any feature phone is a PDA.
What a pointless argument though. I was trying to help the OP with a question on IMAP.
You could call the iPhone a laptop for all I care. An fruit by any other name... (would still smell bad when it starts to rot.)
I have NEVER stated that the iphone sucks. I've played around with a few different iphones, and while it is a cool product, I still would prefer my 755p. Having a real keyboard is more important to me for texting, so I'll probably keep that for a while. I just don't like the iPhone. It has nothing to do with what company I work for, or carrier I have.
The iPhone is a good phone (mostly) and the instinct is a good phone (mostly.)
I don't think the instinct will (or should) "kill" the iphone.
