I don't think its so much that they're banking on it to bring them out of a rut because last I checked, they weren't in a rut. When I read a phone review, as I have over the last 5 years, here on phonescoop, I want to read about the features that the phone has, of course the call quality, the data, all the things that there are to the phone. ALL of them. Good and bad. I don't want to hear everything being compared to another phone. Now in a comparison of course, I'd want to hear about both phones in completion. Not just the touch screen and and a user interface that i'm not used to... I like Apple, don't get me wrong. Hell, I'm typing this from a MacBook connected to a Sprint connection card. But there are so many things that the Instinct has that the iphone didn't that weren't mentioned at all in this review. A good review of this phone is found on CNet which is usually the kind of review that you get here on phonescoop and obviously wasn't the case this time. I was expecting to read about the phone and all of it's features but instead I didn't get the review I expected, and not because it wasn't a glorious beaming review, but because they left out so much about the phone and its selling points. That's what all the rant & rave is about...
