proof is in the pudding, and the pudding is tainted.
But you are being stubborn with this one. You have been honest in your experience with the device. You had issues with the touch screen. That's fine, to the best of your knowledge, it could be just the one in front of you, or it could be all. You didn't really state anything to this nature.
This leads the average consumer who is unaware that it could be just the one phone you have in front you to believe that all of them are bad. Hopefully they look at other reviews, but they may not.
As a respected source of information on mobile phones, it is your responsibility to provide an object point of view on a phone in your reveiws. By overlooking many of the important features of this phone and overlooking a potential bad unit, you have failed to deliver to users of this site.
As far as bias is concerned, the Instinct and the iPhone may not be slated as competition, but the similarites are too great for them not to compete. Therefore, the same review procedure must be used for both and any phone that comes along after. Otherwise you will be touted as being biased toward the apple.
Perception is reality, if you aren't biased, it isn't being perceived as such, and maybe you need to revise the review to show that.
