I have used the instinct and have not encountered any problems that they did. Maybe they had a bad one! 👀

Sounds to me like they got a beta version. I work tech support for Sprint and I only got to see the final version a few days ago. The touchscreen worked much better on the final than it did on the beta version I used.

Also I think the icons and colors used on the final versions interface are a bit different than what they showed in the pictures. Could be a different theme though.

Sprint sent us an official review unit. It was near-final software when we got it, and they updated out software to true final just this week, while we were doing the review. Trust me, it is the very latest software there is. Sprint made sure of that for us.

I tried it before Eric, and noticed the same exact issues.

I've used this phone, and with no difficulty on the touchscreen or the signal strength. On the web, it can be confusing to some that when you tap on a text box, the phone doesn't automatically bring up the keypad to enter whatever text you wanted to type, you have to tap it a second time. This is designed that way so you aren't accidentally tapping that while scrolling.

Your experience with the touchscreen and needing to touch it multiple times may be a case of false-expected-outcome. This touchscreen...
