i have played with the instinct for hours and the review of this phone is horrible...it sounds like they got a defective one because i have had near zero issues like the one they pointed out.... 🤨

Exactly, it's like the reviewer was looking for negatives in the Instinct. He/she probably isn't aware that the Instincts shipped to the press are not final versions. Sprint also said Rev-A is not running on the browser or Sprint TV. Rev-A is being fine-tuned and upgraded for the Instinct, it should be ready by June 20th.

no it has rev a on it and the sprint tv is enabled already, but yes you DO NEED to recalibrate it when you recieve it. that made a big difference.....

I know it has Rev-A however, Sprint said this passed week Rev-A is not available on all features yet, particularly the browser and Sprint TV.

I am definitely not going to hate on them for their review of the phone, if thats their opinion, that's their opinion. It didnt sound like they got a fully operational unit based on my experiences with the phone, and it did seem like they wanted it to be better than the Iphone so bad, that they biased their review that way instead of evaluating the phone on its own merits.

This phone will probably sell well, but the touch diamond is what I am looking forward to personally.

It was fully operational. Sprint sent us the review unit and even updated our software to the latest version at the start of our review process.

I tried it as well, and agree with Eric's evaluation completely.

It's impossible to not compare it to the iPhone. From the hardware to the visual voicemail to the threaded SMS ...

If it's on today that's fine, I know for a fact Rev-A was being ungraded for the Instinct with a projected ready date of no later than June 19th. No disrespect but working for "A" company doesn't constitute all knowledge of "A" company. Are you aware that the Instinct was developed with Android/Linux in mined?...

I don't think it's defective. I tried it as well, and noticed the same issues. Other reviewers have said similar things about it already.

All the people complaining about the review seem to work for Sprint!
Guess they were putting all their eggs in this "instinct" basket and thought it would rock the wireless world like the iPhone has.

The fact you're calling it an iphone-clone shows bias. Sprint may be marketing the Instinct as a competitor to the iphone however, there is nothing in their marketing which calls the Instinct an iphone-clone. All of the reviewers who label the Instinct an iphone-clone give it crappy reviews.
