Instinct = Failure upon Arrival

Let's see, near-unusable touch screen (I used a final production model and found it to be similar, though much better than the terrible Glyde) , sloppy web browser, erratic call quality (Even CNet said so).

I know of a much nicer touch screen phone for that price on a much nicer network. I wonder who honestly would purchase the Instinct over its *ahem* competition.

Sprints network is killin ATTs in St Louis, youd have to be a fool to buy an iphone over and instinct, unless you own one of the thirty ipod models that have came out in the last couple years, and have already invested all your money in itunes....

The phone is not released, therefore you do not have a "FINAL" version, and therefore can not comment on it. DONE.

My employment is affiliated with Samsung's North American operations. Although they're a good company (and are certainly good to me), I call it like I see it. I am a fan of a handful of their products, but I call it like I see it- other manufacturers have set the bar high.

Do us a favor and go back to your Toshiba.

People may not remember you, but I sure do. You were banned from every website you frequented for spouting Apple and Toshiba garbage.

So funny.

What sites have I been banned from that you haven't? And I was banned for an off-topic thread in a political discussion. YOU were banned for your overall conduct over 20 times under a variety of false aliases. If you're interested in not being a parasite, keep this discussion limited to the phone and NOT your mis-information regarding myself personally.

You are full of crap, you do not have "access" to things others don't. Why make up BS?... Did you have a bad child life or something?

It's not as if it's suprising - He had this same rhetoric for years. In fact, we all thought that Samsung had killed somebody in his family or something - either that or he is an Apple employee.

either way, BIG fanboy, who will go to lengths to post garbage. Cute seeing him here.

I know a manager at Sprint who has had this phone for about 2 months now; I don't know if it's a "final product" or not, but it peaked my curiosity enough to want one at release. I usually don't care for reviews and rely on my own self judgment to determine if I purchase a device, but, personally I am going to wait a bit on this device.

Scorpio, why is it so hard to believe that he has had or is currently using this phone? Calling people liars, even on the inter-web is just lame. But, you as an adult should know that.

It's more the fact that he states he has access to things we don't. How the f*** does he know what I have access to anyway?

I'm not claiming you didn't have access to anything. I'm claiming you're justifying a mediocre phone's existence by saying it's a week (or two) off from its "final software" when Samsung knowingly submitted a review unit to them, and apparently, it was of final spec.

It'd be different if this was 'out of character' for Samsung's touch screen devices, but if you've used a Glyde, 'marginally improved' doesn't mean anything compared to the responsiveness of its competitors which have done a much better job refining their inputs.

Adding to what monkeyracer said, he has no idea of what any of us have access to. It has also come to light that bluecoyote has lied on mmany other blogs and has been banned from those blogs.

I don't doubt that you have access through the phone through Samsung. I have a friend that works for Sanyo and had the phone that I have long before it was out so that he could test it. I've also had some Samsung phones in the past and wasn't completely satisfied with them. I have however used this phone, thanks to a friend that works at a Sprint store, and I haven't encountered the touch screen issue nor have any of the employees, including one of them that has an iphone. And as far as a much nicer phone on a much nicer network? I'm sorry, the features of the iphone don't stack up to the features of this phone. I've had Sprint for 6 years and haven't had any problems with erratic call quality here in San Diego nor when I lived in LA o...
