Temporary Fix for A Bigger Problem

Sprint thinks that introducing a Hybrid device will fix all of their problems? Not so fast.. You can't put a band-aid on a Heart Attack!
The problem is that former Nextel Subs. are jumping ship in droves. Just look at the numbers from last quarter. No one at Sprint is happy with how things are post merger. Their employees are not getting the direction and support they need from top management. You've got Srint execs. down to the DM level, and Nextel execs down to the DM level vying for power. Start offering "real" solutions. Nextel knew a long time ago that they couldn't ride iDen forever. It's a technology of the past. Sprint just made a bad investment and their numbers show it.

It takes time for mergers to be successful, but there are things in the work to make the customers choose what devices they want starting with the dual mode devices, to the joint venture devices and to Qchat.

It was a great investment for Sprint but they just need to execute.

you have to hit the bottom before you can reach the top ...

any former sprint customer does not see that the merger has done, since things for customers on each side of the merger see not change.

That is true and execution is the key here and if they will not execute there will be facing more problems in the future as well as any company out there.
