And see if the rumor that Danger designers are designing a new slider for Helio with the help of another phone OEM.

They tote this myspace thing on a phone without a KB, and that is a bit silly.

If Danger helps them design something, it will be a winner - or, at least something much better than these phones.

I agree that the mobile MySpace thing does seem a bit silly without a keyboard. But...

This is the most **** I've ever seen jammed into a phone of this size. The fact that they got a GPS receiver in there (that apparently works, according to the engadgetmobile.com post about it today) still amazes me. If a keyboard got involved, it would have pushed it into the smartphone/pda form factor which, for me, just isn't pocketable.

Guess I'll find out soon enough. I ordered one on Friday, supposed to be here some time this week.

Actually, all current CDMA phones in the US have that. It's for E-911. Newer phones, such as this and many new Sprint and Verizon phones, simply add the software interface (API) that lets it be used for navigation software, etc. (LBS).

Again, I'm getting my information from an Engadget post but the review says that it uses both A-GPS (the "built-in" CDMA flavor) as well as regular GPS. The post refers to it as a hybrid:

I haven't seen this confirmed anywhere else though.
