Google Continues March Toward Mobile
This is GREAT!
Next step: Let it run in the background, and notify you of new e-mail (like the Gmail Notifier does...checking however often you choose).
This leaves who? Cingular and friggin Sprint?
WOW GREAT GOING!
Google just needs to become a MVNO and have an interface gooey that runs all their apps. Imagine having:
gmail
google earth
google office
picasa
local
bla bla all in one place on a phone that was meant to run them at any time you NEED.
Make google really mobile đ Like Helio with unlimited data, and minute plans for one flat rate. woot. or should I say wootle!
:-P

Well good for you. Glad you are happy with it. If you ever need more then switch. You cannot bag on Sprint because they have the fastest and largest broadband coverage then.

I have t-mobile and it worked fine for me. For many users, tmo blocks the ports for it to work. Many use a proxy server to get opera mini and other java apps to work.
Hey, djdanska - thanks for that tip. I will try that this weekend. What phone are you using it on?

Google would not dare jump into the wireless business just like that; plus, Sprint does not use BREW, uses JAVA, so....
