I was talking to a nokia rep last week and he said that nokia and Cingular are trying really hard to get this thing out by thanksgiving;-) that would be nice but we'll see.

The phone is cool but looks a little plain for having such good features. Also, as far as getting it by the holidays, I have found that phones that are rushed for release usually have a first batch that is more prone to glitches then the second or third wave.

Sometimes plain is good, simplicity in a cellphone is not the worst thing. I like somewhat thin phones with good and uncluttered displays.

I was thinking the same thing when i saw the phone(plain looking). but after i held it and used it for a few mins, i loved it. its great to see a s60 in the US thats a flip with 3g 😁 I've been waiting for one since i had my 3620 😎 another thing to point out is that the phone felt very solid. and i loved the keypad.

Yes. Overall, just looking at the phone is pretty plan. But who cares? Since it is Nokia, it's gonna rock. There's no doubt in my head that this phone is going to do good, but 3G or not, the N95 is gonna come out with a bang! (In the US that is)

😁 RELAX! It's coming...HOPEFULLY by 1st qtr! Yes it's frustrating I know. Living in Buffalo we don't have 3G but smaller cities in the midwest do. BUT...our EDGE network is fantastic up here and we get about 100-120 kbps per the network dept up here and I can say from personal experience that it IS pretty darn fast. Fast enuf to get Cingular Video going in less than a minute. I personally can't wait for the speed of 3G but in the mean time, if u have an EDGE phone, things are pretty darn good!

yea at my store we listen to mobiradio all day and it takes just a few seconds to load and ive tested our edge cards from cnet bandwidth and the highest i ever got was around 180 which blew my mind. but never got that high of a test since then lol

Market 14 - Lexington, KY. Usually around 100-140. Using the Siera card its alot faster than the old Sony Ericsson cards we used to have.
