How is this better then Backup Assistant? Its more then twice as much, and it appears to do pretty much the same thing.

what's new here is not backup. and if all you want to do is backup the contacts on your phone, backup assistant is a much wiser choice.

the new part is that plaxo syncs contacts from many desktop applications which it can the automatically sync to your phone. you don't have to enter any numbers manually on the phone.

a better option would be to use this plaxo to sync then use backupassistant as a subscription. You can also use the backupassistant website to enter contacts, though not sync.

It is, but the clients they are going after with this service can afford it, and are more worried about saving time, than spending a few extra bucks a month.

also through my account starting nov 16, you can back up contacts for free. all you have to do is sign up for my account. this is going to be a great option, and less stupid questions in store because you can do virtually everything through my account.

But no matter how easy we attempt to make things for the cusotmer online, there's always gonna be the people that can't figure anything out on their own, no matter how simple it is.
