Don't Bother
I can tell you this..... having owned and sold the unlocked version of this phone (6915), it is very weak in comparison to what is out there today. Aside from the fact that at this point Cingular should not be releasing any smartphone or PDA that does not have UTMS, both the screen resolution as well as the battery life of this unit completely SUCK. The big ol' screen, when combined with 240x240 resolution means grainy, grainy, grainy. Plan on using Direct Push, surfing some websites, making a few calls & taking a few pics? Then you better plan on charging every day. Turn on WiFi & Bluetooth for a while and, well, you better have another battery with you.

yes but regardless its still old out of date technology. This phone was supposed to be released in April, and they finally get around to it some 7 months later. I highly doubt any will sell. Cingular is making a big mistake. The treo 750 and cingular 8525 are coming out around the same time as this. Both are 3G, and much more advanced then this. Plus i have heard numerous complaints about this phone in various on-line forums. Nobody has anything good to say about it.

This was not due out in April. It didn't go to field trial until May. It was originally intended to be a mid-summer release which would have probably given it 3-4 months of decent sales but there were quite a few software issues to fix.
It is a decent 2g device with GPS that works pretty well but because of it's late release it is going to be overshadowed by the 8525 and the Blackjack, both are now expected in the next couple of weeks....
