i belive
SK telecom (owner of Helio) was the first carrier to start HSDPA in the world . now the KTF (another south korea carrier will begin HSDPA nationwide in korea by next spring )
and SK will rollout 4G service around 2009, probably first in the world

?! What are you talking about? Are you even in the right thread?! EVDO rev A has nothing to do with HSDPA. 🙄

Sprint is only in North America so when comparing worldwide technologies, please remember that Sprint can't release a technology in korea or japan, or anywhere.
Plus, I live in the US, so having a technology elsewhere doesn't really matter to me, because I won't use it.
There are far faster speeds in other countries, but can you get those speeds here? No, so there's not much use in using them for a comparison.

I'm with monkeyspanker on that one. I don't care about technology in other countries. And I have used all 4 major carriers in the past year and sprint is by far the fastest with tmobile by far the slowest with cingular right after them. All in all gsm sucks in the united states right now

someone mentioned Cingular as first HSDPA in the world, so i was making correction.
SK telecom is the first in the World, so I had to mention it.
and i didn't compare any carrier with any other one...
did I say anything about Sprint?
or their speed?
