Ship Jumpers caught!!!!! Sorry folks no waived ETF's anymore!!
I called cancellations (multiple times) and they are giving customers 500 text free a month, which then makes additional incoming and outgoing 10 cents a message, thus no longer adversely affecting the material terms and conditions of the contract stated by article 7 of the CTIA agreement and Sprint policies. Sorry folks about the no ETF, but hey look 500 free text! YIPPEE!!!!

You obviously dont want to cancel that badly. Since its a breach of contract. Call this number 1-888-567-5528 been tried and tested. They are prepaired to cancel your contract.

just as verification for this, in order to have the ETF waived. 😁 you must have used text msging for the last 2 months, have not paid your bill since oct 1, 2006. if you have paid you bill already you are S.O.L, according to sprint terms and conditions, once you pay your bill you agree to the services provided by sprint. 😁

I called them today and spent over an hour and a half on the phone with the call center manager and he flat out refused to cancel my contract and gave me sprints legal department address and then flagged my account so it doesnt look good for anyone trying to get out of contract now. I wrote them a letter we'll see what happens.

Are you sure it was a call center manager, and not a supervisor. managers and team leads don't take calls. if you ask for a manager, you get a supervisor, and all they do, in this case, is put a high priority note on the acct stating your intentions. it doesnot mean that you will not be able to opt out of your contract, it's still up to the account services reps to make the decision, and if they follow the online solution for this issue, then you should be able to opt out of your contract with out penalty. it is purely their judgement on this. 😁

I asked for the call center manager because I had been on hold off and on with the person who originally took my call for over 45 minutes I then argued with him for another 45 minutes and he refused to do anything more for me because I wouldn't agree to the unlimited text being added to my plan and gave me the address to the legal office.
