It doesn't feel like a real phone until it shows up in the Phonescoop listings. Even though this has been mentioned by Engadget, Engadget Mobile, Gizmodo, Mobileburn and countless others, it still won't be real to me until I see the hard & fast specs on the HTC page for devices.

Phonescoop just feels much more authentic.

See, that's what I'm talking about: Engadget, Gizmodo, etc. are good for wild, imaginative speculation & g33k g34k pr0n, but for reliable details, you guys are where it's at.

Huzzah for Phonescoop!

How did the screen look? Was it really crisp and bright?

the screen is not quite flashlight bright, but it is sharp and crisp, and plenty bright enough to be high-contrast. in bright sunlight, the screen is unreadable if you have the keypad locked since then the backlight is super dim. with the backlight at full brightness, it is still difficult to read in bright sunlight, but not completely unusable like some phones.
