Sounds like something that's about 15 years too late. I mean really who makes phone calls anymore? Sure once in a while, but most people text or instant message. It's like rolling out cellular "home phones" to replace your wire line service. Everyone who's gotten rid of their home phone has done so years ago. HD calling's calling already came and went.

The fact that people under 20 don't make calls to their dozen or so friends doesn't change how the majority of people who do actual work and business use phone calls, both mobile and land line.
