My s8 is my goto device. Im using them on Sprint and the coverage bars are usually higher on the S8 also. G6 is a good device, just seems a lil rushed.

Keep in mind that the "bars" measurement is completely arbitrary. There is no standard for what "three bars" means, etc. Some manufacturers (and/or carriers) will even inflate them to make the phone and/or network appear better than it really is.
