It's not that they are 29 secs, at's that they are over 300k in sizes, AT&T restricts that on phones now. I had several that were 40+ secs but under 300k before I hacked mine. But now I have removed the restriction I can choose any song of any length or size and apply as a ringtone, which it I know its only gonna play roughly the first 30secs, but when they are encoded at faster bitrate they sound so much better.
