I think brand recognition is very important. A Nokia, lets say "Blazer" (i dont know lol 🤣 ) sounds more comfortable than 6103i. Thus, more people will remember the name and want to buy it.

It also would make it easier for reps to help customers distiguish between phones. I barely even use numbers any more with Nokia's. For instance with the 6103, I don't even say "have you seen the Nokia 6103?" I just say "have you seen the nokia flip phone?" The same goes for samsung, which Is starting to name their phones starting with the Samsung Trace a.k.a. T-519. The only thing I am concerned about is, will the prices of phones increase in the future as it gets tougher and more expensive for marketing people to name phones?

P.S., when explaining the form factor of the Nokia 6010, I told the customer it was a candy bar style phone and this customer replied, "Oh that must be that chocolate phone." Get it, candy bar, chocolate?...

I think it's a good idea too. I mean you don't see cars with model numbers on them really. I mean you've got Lincoln Navigator, Jeep Wrangler, Ford Mustang. I mean you wouldn't want a Ford G689 I mean... blah... Ford F150 isn't too bad, but not every Ford is like that...
