Don't worry, there are 2 new Cingular Blackberries launching very soon, one almost identical to the pearl, except WITH PTT, and another soon to be announced...

T-Mobile's BB Plan is 19.99 in addition to your voice package.... Cing's is like 44.99 or right around there.... when you have 2 lines that just want push email 40 bucks X 2 a month is CRAZY!

Yeah its a little spendy but 95% of the people who have the BBconnect on their plans arent paying for it. Generally it is the company or corporation paying for it. There is also an additional plan for 29.99 so it depends on how much data you are really sending and recieving.

Yeah, when it comes to enterprise accounts, Cingular has almost everyone beat. I heard that AT&T's business accounts were like 30% of Cingular's decision to buy them. T-Mobile greatly lacks in their business support. 😕

Honestly, I do not believe so, I recall to the best of my knowledge that the big orange is looking at a tentative release time of October/November.

Hope this helps

The RIM rep for my area stopped by my store Tuesday, and he said Cingular's getting the Pearl, but I wasn't supposed to spread it around. Which says to me it'll be a while. I've been here seven months, and we just now got the V3i that was supposed to come out the week I started.

To progress! 🤣
