The Sprint way of doing business is broken

👿 I work for sprint directly at a High traffic store in Maryland, I sell both consumer and business customers. I see first hand why sprint will never be the premier carrier that verizon is. Not until they fix the poor customer experience that leads to irate customers, we need a customer care rep in every store not to mention a security guard. I personally have verizon and I see first hand the different experience that you feel when you walk into a VZW store and a Sprint store.

By the way Boost mobile is ghetto wireless at its finest just listen to the hold music when you call customer service. And I am a young black male =) so that I'm not racist in any way.

LMAO. That's so funny, because I live about a mile from Detroit. Not to mention I just went to Altered State night club at the State Theater in Detroit last night and there was about 90% black people there. Also not to mention I've been going to Detroit since I was 3 years old. I learned how to ice skate at Hart Plaza. I've been to Belle Isle tons of times. I've been to the DIA, the Science Center, Renaissance Center, I went to Wayne State University for 3 years, I've been to the auto show a few times. ALL of which are IN Detroit and everybody knows that Detroit has a lot of black people but not just.. I also have friends that are black.

And whoever said we were talking about black people 🙄 We're talking about the Gangsta looking/hi...

I coudn't agree with you more..

In connecticut, the berlin turnpike there is Verizon and Sprint not but 1000 ft from each other.. Both are nice large stores. But at Verizon.. unless there jammin busy everyone that works there wants to help you. If your in the Sprint store most dont care about you and tell you that you need to see the person that has a line of 5 people.. When all u need is a few simple answers that you know they can look up in the computer.. Sprint cus. service sucks.

My question is, if you really are an associate at a Sprint retail store, then why aren't you doing something to make the customer experience better? Sitting back an complaining about how no one cares doesn't help the situation. You should care. you should set an example to the other reps in your store. Are you going to fix all of the problems...no. However; every little bit helps. I work for Sprint as also, and I know as well as any that there are some customer service problem out there, but rather than sit back and complain about I am personally working to overcome those objections and to show customers that some of us really do care, and will strive to improve their experience. I hate to brake it to you, but it apathetic associates like y...

Because Sprint dosnt know how to train there employies that makes me the problem? And why should I waste my time fixing it? Pay me and I could walk in there and turn there attitudes around in no time.

Heres some tips.

1. Don't stand around. Theres allways something to do or someone to help.

2. Get Excited. If some asked a question and you dont know it try your best to find the answer. Ask the customer questions.

3. Help Each other. If one person is swampped see if you can assist them in any way. Leaving customers standing is in my opinion one of the simplest ways to piss someone off.

4. Cross-training. Ok so you can't help your co-workers cause you can't jump from your station to open a 2ed computer at the station th...

😁 😁 Good theory blue cat, but lets me shed some light on the current situation in which I work under, My store is the 3rd busiest store in Maryland we are under staffed ( 4 sales reps including myself) 😈. We have up too 40 people waiting in line at our store for up to an hour to be seen,we not only handle sales but customer care issues, phone service issues unlike verizon we don't have a customer service rep in store to assist customers with billing issues, we have to handle it. I was brought in because I Have a tremendous amount of cell phone experience, I have worked for every major cell phone carrier ( Sncom,AT&T/Cingular, T-mobile)excluding Verizon. I have implemented the best pratices that I have learned over the years to...

Asking ANYone to get excited about something that's just plain NOT exciting is a stupid tactic on a corporate level. Circuit City recently went this route with massive managerial changes and a drive to "get employees to be visibly excited about everything they do". Well, uh, selling electronics is NOT exciting. Jumping around like jackasses pretending to be excited only puts off the customer. Simply try and be sincere with them and help them to the best of your ability. "Excitement" is NOT the answer.

If Excitment or Intrest is then what is the answer? What dose jumpping around like a jackass have to do with anything?

Why woudnt selling elcetronics be exciting?? I love them.. The opertunity to learn to show people whats out there and whats right for them would be fun if you ask me.

Too many people.. (employees) just dont care enough. Ok so saying "get excited" is corny. Allright well then maybe you should look like you care. Act like your interested in finding and answer. Personaly I think there is alot of employees that are depressed, or just "slow". Slow cause they wernt educated, or just dont like where they are in life.
I just hate it when i ask help from someone for help and they look and act like there on a drug (yo...
