We just got a shipment in of the 520's and from what i can tell it is a good phone for the price. MP3 player with gps email and TV capabilities for only $50 isn't a bad deal for customers. The only thing i dont like is its plastice feel. I can imagine people dropping it and having problems in the near future. But for the few of us who are smart enough to buy insurance or cases it should be a good phone.

yeah the whole quality feel was what i was wondering about....i'm in an affiliate market and we haven't gotten any in at my warehouse yet so i havent got my hands on it yet. it looks a lot better than most of the phones we have out now in its range of features (see katana dlx). i was thinkin about picking this up to update my a920 that i use for my business line, do you think thats a good idea (judging from the quality cause youve held it)?

I have this phone and there is a major flaw with it. When the phone rings, it does a "ringer fade in". The ring is quiet and then it gets loud. This cannot be turned off. This happens with ALL ringer types (including the ones for texting, voicemail & picture mail). I have missed ALOT of text messages because I'm not able to hear it.

Just thought I'd pass this tid bit of information along. I'm actually thinking about trading this phone in because of the problem.
