Verizon Launches First 3.2 Megapixel Camera Phone
I shouldve waited....
I have the LG 8300 but this phone is NICE!!!!!
3.2 megapixels???
Is it possible to renew my contract and get this phone even though I just got service like 1 month ago????
You could just buy the new phone on a new line of service and just go with one of VZW's family share plans.
If you don't actually need the extra line, you just keep the other phone for a back up in case of loss, theft, or damage.
Up to a Family plan (assuming you have cheapest plans): +$30/month ($39.99 individual to $69.99 family)
2 years: $30*24 = $720
Not to mention the $350 or so the phone would cost you
It may seem like not so much at first to add another line of service, but in all reality it might just be cheaper to buy the phone full price instead of having to deal with another contract.
Just my 2 cents...
But if I already have the Family Plan, doesn't it cost just $9.99 per month per added line, sharing minutes?
$10/month * 24 months = $240
Phone itself w/2yr contract = $350 (more than this price after a mail in rebate I would assume)
You're looking at $590 over 2 years when you can just purchase it full price (as long as the listed price on website is outright) at $400.
Either way you look at it, I think you'd definitely save money buying it outright versus signing a new 2 yr service agreement.
I should have been more clear. I have daughters who, not too long from now, will be needing cell phones. So, I would give them what my wife and I now have (the LG VX 8300), adding two lines, and buy something new.
I wouldn't add a line and buy the phone just to have the phone.
Thanks.
Hopefully you enjoy the phone when you purchase it.
You can then do an ESN change on your phone to switch over to your newest fancy....and then sell your 8300 to someone to make at least SOME of your money back. đ
