Who Cares

Seriously, who cares about this cheesy device and the crappy T-Mobile service. This device is HUGE, ugly and when people use it as a phone they look so foolish holding this huge thing to their ear.
Agreed. It's for the kids. T-Mo is the budget carrier with my holes than swiss cheese. They're just hoping the kids will be begging their mommies and daddies to get them the new sidekick
I've worked with the sidekicks since the first one. They are incredibly functional devices for those users who will take the time to use the features. A smaller device would be much less functional, more difficult to use, & not fit the niche the sidekicks do.
I have been fortunate, with my experience with the sidekicks, to have worked with many members of the deaf & hard of hearing community. This is an awesomely functional device for those who use text, IM, & internet functionality.

Actually, they've gotten smaller and thinner since the release of the first Sidekick, which wasn't all that big to begin with...so what're you talking about exactly?
Aside of that. I always thought of the Sidekick as a smart phone for communcation freaks. I mean not everyone needs windows mobile and stylus. It's nice for those who just want to txt n talk, who don't need all that other data on the go.

Well... If you take a look at the MDA. I mean that's a much better size for a qwerty keyboard type of a phone. I think they could've slimmed it down to MDA size and more people would've probably responded better to the SK3 release.

Well thought out. The MDA is definitely suited for the common hand, whereas the Sidekick can be awkward to handle...but, damn, is it ever popular.
Just my 0.02.
