LOL... VERIZON is gonna HATE this...

How is gonna look when all of their phone packages only have a headset icon and the competition (Sprint, Cingular) is gonna have a crp load of icons on theirs.

You are completely right.

I can hear someone at the Verizon mall kiosk now.
--But the same phone at the other phone company has 4 icons on the box... yours only has one... Why is that?

It is sad that if it were not for Verizon this would be completely unnecessary.

I am about 95% certain I will migrate all five of my phones away from Verizon to Cingular mostly due to Verizon's pathetic and unprofessional handling of bluetooth and the V710 fiasco. I bought not one, but two of these V710s, and was really looking forward to what was then one of the premiere "first up" bluetooth phones, and subsequent issues w/ Verizon crippling.

If they cripple bluetooth...what's next ? Will they cripple or "modify" SD memory cards ? Will they force Motorola to cripple or modify my ac/dc adapter so it runs 220v unbeknownest to me ? Point is the trust is lost now.

Bluetooth SIG is to be commended for figuring out this unique response. Over time, Verizon will be negatively impacted as buyers opt away from Verizon/bl...
