Good and bad

I like this feature, being a parent. Being able to track you kids, and know where they are, and making sure that they're where they're supposed to be is nice. It's also nice to be able to pull one of those "I know you haven't left Susan's house yet..." moments.

My inner Orwell alarm is going off though... At what point does Big Brother starting pinging us, figuring out where we are, or have they already? 👀

They can already do that. Hence the 911/locator setting on your phone. They just haven't used it against anyone I don't believe.

Well, that's how they found OJ. He was on the run in the white Bronco and they located him using the E911 locater in his cell phone.

i'm sure AJ's analog phone didn't have E911. He called 911 and told them where they were.
e911/agps are still relativly new and most 911 centers aren't even compatible with it yet. SO I doubt a chase that happened 10 years ago was an example of its use.

Hell you know the FBI, CIA, and other gov. agencys are using this junk Big Brother is always over our shoulders waiting to go tell Mom.....I know the war has nothing to do with this but I support that just not the whole phone tapping thats invastion of privacy. 😳

Let's hope that priest and other child molesters can hack into the system through the computer so they can track all the little kids around the U.S ...now thats a scary thought>>>

all i know is that verizon wireless isnt alowing the government to have the records and that means no big brother 😎
