I hope verizon allows it to support html

I have a bad feeling that they won't. It would give consumers access to unlimited web for $15/ month. Only time will tell, but I've been waiting for something to replace my openwave browser for sometime.

Yeah, Openwave is pretty bad. Crashed every phone I ever used it on on a regular basis.

I do understand it must be difficult, given the limited bandwith and memory phones had, but it still is bad.

It's already been replaced... it's called Opera Mini.

it doesnt work no vzw phones because the dont use java they use brew.

however, NWEB does have a browser for some of their phones that works something like an opera mini.
