I also remember the market they migrated from GSM/GPRS to TDMA and then migrated back.

TDMA...those were the days. No SIM card and the 5 digit SID codes!!!!!!

Are you sure about that? I believe they migrated from AMPS to TDMA to GSM.

Sprint had the first GSM network in the USA.

Wait it was CDMA>TDMA>GSM(WCDMA)

It was a market they purchased a decade or so ago,.
