Me thinks they are wanting to focus on their core business.... since every year AMD chips(haha pun) away at their market share in the server, mobile and desktop markets.

AMD owning Intel? ! ? ! ? ! ? Isn't that kinda the equivelend of Apple owning Microsoft?????

AMD may have the server market, but Intel has the desktop, AND the laptop market, which is far, far larger. . .
