That horizontal screen makes the phone look ugly. I like the live tv part though.

It rotates. It's only horizontal when you want to watch TV.

It's ONLY horizonal (Widescreen) when watching tv, otherwise, it's a normal flip phone, the screen rotates for tv viewing.

In these coming years, more, and more increasing displays, on cell phones, laptops, and especially televisions, will ALL be widescreen.

I love widescreen. Purchased my first 16:9 TV in 1998 and haven't picked up a 4:3 since. My computer monitors are all 16:9 or 16:10. But it just doesn't work in this form factor. Maybe in a phone like the A630 (Moto) but not this. And I could really care less about TV on my phone. It's a waste of bandwith.

well in the future it wont be a waste of bandwidth. some phones will and do offer tv in/out's so you can watch your mobile tv on your home tv or feed your home tv to your phone. incase you dont have or want to pay for cable or dish or vice versa.

in europe they already have over the air tv which i think is called dvb-t.

Like I said... waste of bandwidth. For me to want to stream video from my cell to my home TV it will need to be capable of 18Mbps+ of bandwidth. MP4 will help reduce that but it's still a lot of data to pump over such a device. And watching TV on such a small mobile screen is almost pointless for me.

Media flo does not use the wireless bandwith. It is transmitted on the frequencies given up by UHF stations going digital. I think it will be a big market. It's not something I would buy but I could see the demand for it.

it will start as a novelty (remember the first camera phones) and in 2 years it will be commonplace. so get over it and look to the future instead of living in the past 😁
