I read that the numerical name of the Uproar 2 was the M250, so could thisbe it? But I guess it wouldnt make sense since this doesnt seem to be a music oriented phone, but I just wanted to mention that. 🙂

I saw the same rumor a couple weeks ago.

I assume someone just saw the M250 model number - and that it was coming to Sprint - and (incorrectly) assumed that it was the Uproar 2 since the original Uproar was the M100.

But I'm 99% sure that the M250 approved by the FCC is for Sprint and has the B250 form factor. That doesn't make much sense for a music phone, and doesn't jive with any of the other speculation attached to that Uproar 2 rumor.

Like you, I'd be shocked if it couldn't do the MP3 thing, but music does not seem to be the main focus.

Also, Samsung seems to be leading the pack in camera resolution, so I think it's safe to say this'll be @ least 2mp's, if it's 3.2 though, I'll jump all over it.

I'm not even under contract with Cingular, nor have I been since Oct.30
