Not an Upgrade Fee

I've upgraded at T-Mobile many times. They do not charge the $20 fee for the sim card for upgrade phones.

Confirmed T-Mobile only charges SIM Starter Kits "Activation Fee" to new customers coming to T-Mobile.

There is no Upgrade Fee to get new equipment when you are already a customer.
