Anyone know when the W760 will be available? Who will be carrying it?

I googled it and the couple sites I found said Q2 2008. To be honest I'm not even sure how reliable those sources are....
I hope this is a saving grace for Sony's part for me. I bought the 580 through Amazon, sent two of em back because of cracked keys (just google it, its "amazing" their tech support doesn't know about it). Whats worse is I went to Vegas with some friends a few weeks back, the Sony Style store had one on display WITH the cracked keys(gray one)! It's almost enough to make me walk away from them for good, such inferior materials. Was a total dissapointment seein as I've been a Ericsson customer for almost 10 years now. Had their phones go off roofs (I'm in construction), into puddles, shoot my w600 I just had the charg...

I work in the warranty dept for att exchange- & we know of this as a product advisory & that this phn under normal usage conditions is known to happen & can be covered so as long as no other evidence of phys/liquid dmg exists.. exchanges are still like 4 like unless out of stock 🙂

Well at least AT&T is standing behind it!! Though I've had good luck with them standing behind what they sell with my prior locked phones. Man I must've gone thru 3 CSR's at Ericsson (mine was unlocked) and not one would admit it being a defect or common problem. You hear anything about potentially carrying this 760? I'd much rather get an AT&T just cause if I do have warranty its a quick swap to get a replacement where ericsson I'd have to go back to my old phone while they "figure out" if its my fault or not and "fix" it.

Rich -

Assuming at&t decides to carry this phone, how long does it typically take from CES to market?

I'd love to buy one under the at&t plan, but don't want to buy an open market phone due to support issues.

Thanks.
