However,
Tim Cook is right
the fbi does not care about what is in that man's phone.
They want the tools to unlock all phones such as this and also apply it toward all devices with such encryption

It should only be a problem if you have something to hide. I will say that he is right about the spying with cameras part but that is over exaggerating the issue just to try and be correct.

Only idiots who prefer slavery to freedom make the argument that, "it's only a problem if you have something to hide". Guess what, I HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE - my tax records, my credit card bills, my mortgage payments, my bank statements, my pictures of my kids, my personal letters I have written to acquaintances, my DVD player, my comic book collection, the number of miles on my car, my silverware, and my can opener. Those are ALL things I feel like hiding from the federal government. AND THEY ARE ALL PROTECTED BY THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. I don't need some moron giving away my freedoms just because he doesn't find them particularly valuable.

You make a statement like "cook your a tool" without checking your grammar AND to the subject at hand and you expect anyone to take your post seriously?

You are the tool if you think that Apple should comply.

The implications of Apple providing the FBI or anyone/org with a backdoor unlock (hack) to it's own OS by exploiting it's own code reaches far beyond a single cell phone.

There are billions of iOS devices running in every part of the world and in every industry.

Though I agree wholeheartedly with what you're trying to say in your post, I think you're being a bit naive. The revelations about US government spying from Ed Snowden were chilling and far worse than having a backdoor into an iPhone. But the fallout over that was next to nothing, other than some posturing by our President elect while the CIA and FBI got back to business as usual behind closed doors. I find it highly doubtful there would be any consequences whatsoever if Apple did cave to the FBI. And that, my friend, is just sad.

Cook wants to protect our freedoms and you want to give them away. Who's the tool again?
