😁 What do you expect from Alltel?? In my area there is only Cingular and Alltel, they know that they are lying...or they are just being smar@$$es. hahahaah

I think it could be true that they cover more square miles than any other carriers... Especially with recent acquisitions...

Just till 2008 when they turn off there AMPS network, then it will be know who really has the most coverage.

I can't wait for that one! I am really sick of the smug look on the Allsmell reps faces. They know that T-Mobile and Verizon kick there butts all day long. Come on how long did it take for them to get ANY wireless data? They just got phone browsers what about 2 years ago??? Until 3 years ago they did not even have SMS with other providers.

80 percent of there network is now EVDO. Where is T-Mobile....that's right in the stoneage until WCDMA is deployed.

You do realize they plan to have the whole network overlayed with digital by then right? Almost all of it is now. There are only a few areas with analog only.

They are not lying. Alltel covers more land then any other carrier. That is a fact. Cingular may cover more population, that doesn't mean they cover more land mass. Just the highly populated land mass.
