Yeah, you know T-Mobile had a big part of this. T-Mo doesn't deal in those shady ways, and caught everyone else who tried it!

It's not shady... Its smart. Big companies do this sort of stuff ALL THE TIME. And its not a secret by any means. People title cars under the companies name to write it off as a business expense, Large companies sometimes sell their products under a smaller companies name. The list goes on and on. Its a way for them to spend less money, and there was nothing illegal about it.

exactly, just like SONY did with AIWA. SONY owns them and felt that they (SONY) were missing out on a target market of consumers that wanted nice looking product but didn't have the money. SONY did not want to "cheapen" their brand/name so they manufactured basically the same product by marketed it as AIWA and sold it for half the price.
