So let me see if I understand this correctly. Motorola recognizes its vib is truly not silent and instead of fixing that by just have the phone go completely dead they decide to ignore that and have some stupid armband or w/e shock you.

yeah and its going to be great when they malfunction and just start to shock the $hit out of you... i can see it now, "Motorola is currently in a lawsuit, involving their new product, the shocker. A un-named customer was continuously shocked by their cell phone as it malfunctioned. Before they could get the apparatus off, the device dilivered a 10000 volt shock through their body, sending them into a coma"

I think this is a good idea, the shock will most likley be such a low voltage it will probaly feel as strong as a phone vibrateing against your leg. And its on a seperate device, and the battery on that device will be much weaker than a cell phones. I cant leave my phone on vib in meetings or classes, everyone can hear it.

But on the other hand, people in your meeting will see you jump up and down off your chair and realize " Hey you have a Motorola TASR" on you.. they better accept your ideas OR ELSE you will shock them till they do.. 😁

A 10,000 volt shock sending someone in to a coma? That doesn't even make sense. Thats like a cellphone giving your sister brain cancer even though she never used one in her life. Next be smarter on your comments.

I dont see how thats any different than an exploding battery!

Also, remember, its amperage, not voltage that kills/hurts/etc. Even if its a 3.7 volt battery, the voltage and amperage can be changed to whatever.

I cant wait to leave this phone on a metal table. This phone sounds likes a lot of fun.

Not to mention that this thing is in TWO parts - so if this gets implemented, there's a SECOND gadget that you have to bring with you along with the phone itself. This is completely retarded.
