Because, it's my favoriate number. đŸ¤Ŗ

Studies have also shown that the average user calls an average of 10 different numbers in a month. This allows Alltel customers the advantage of near unlimited calling, with nation-wide service and the value of the largest owned and operated wireless network. It is one more commitment that Alltel is making to it's customers to provide cutting edge value and service.

Wow...another person that doesn't get out much...Alltel is as "city" as Verizon, with the exception of some major markets, such as NY, LA, etc.

People keep sleeping on Alltel, but if you've been browsing the web much lately, you've seen ads from Alltel, not to mention they've allied themselves with ABC/Disney. That's a huge advantage for them. People keep sleeping. People slept on GTE and look where they are not(Verizon), nevermind Voice Stream(T-Mobile), oh wait...At&t(Cingular). Notice a trend. People ignore companies, blindly, and then they end up looking at a bigger company just down the road. It took 15 years for Verizon to become the company they are now, I don't imagine that it'll take that long for Alltel to reach similar nu...

Thanks MD, he's just pissed that Alltel is a company that isn't trying to anally rape it's customers on a daily basis. Unlike some others...

Alltel is out to make it to the big time and be a major player on a national stage.

UNLIKE Suncom, who seems quite content to be bought, or sit in the mire of the UNplan. What a joke. Let's keep ourselves treading water until someone with a concept buys us so we can retire millionares...

As to the MyCircle idea, it's similar to somthing Alltel has been doing for YEARS, Call Home Free. They only added 9 more numbers, did I mention that this is all FREE FOR ALL ALLTEL CUSTOMERS on ANY plan $59.99 or higher?

And yes, I do represent Alltel.

WOO-HOO!!

You are funny.

Let's see, Alltel has 10 million customers on "THE LARGEST NETWORK", wow, what if Cingular or Verizon had the largest network, . ...get your facts straight.

"Alltel is out to make it to the big time and be a major player on a national stage."

Cingular= 56 Million
Verizon= 50 Million
T-Mobile= 24 Million
ALLTEL= 10 Million

Wow, they are almost there!! What a great big company you are, ALLTEL!!!! I BET CINGULAR AND VERIZON ARE JUST AT WITS END THINKING OF THE DAMAGE YOU COULD CAUSE THEM!!!

SunCom may have a million customers, but they did have it first. Not Alltel, who is doing so WELL that they have to COPY SunCom, I mean, for real!, waive deposits, or anything to get people to buy their ph...

Largest network meaning largest coverage area. No other carrier - Verizon included - has more natively owned geographic coverage area that Alltel. That has nothing to do with number of customers.

Incidentally, Alltel was planning this for some time. It was rather surprising when Suncom released theirs, but we certainly weren't going to back down at that point. Besides, ours is free. Sure, you have to be on a $59.99 or higher plan. Maybe that will change, I don't know... for now, you're right, it LOOKS like it can be had at a lower price point with Suncom. However, that's deceptive: see below comparison.

Minimum price point for Suncom:
$29.99 PLUS $15 for feature = $45 for 300 minutes. Plus, as far as I can see, that doesn't...

Let's explain why SunCom offered Mobile to anyone at a lower price point. Nights/weekends and mobile to mobile don't mean a whole lot when you have 1 million customers, versus 58 million or 45 million or 25 million. Thats why they did that.

OH, wait, ALLTEL IS A REGIONAL CARRIER TOO!!!, with "THE LARGEST NETWORK"!!

as you say,

"Largest network meaning largest coverage area. No other carrier - Verizon included - has more natively owned geographic coverage area that Alltel. That has nothing to do with number of customers."

What exactly do you mean by that? Do you not think YOUR company is not worried by that? If I had the largest network, I would sure love to have the customer base to back it up since customers produce revenue...

LOL - somebody's got an axe to grind and a lack of standing! "O noes, I can't argue on facts, better change the subject!"

Or maybe you can show how a financial performance issue from a decade or more ago relates to how good this particular offer is for consumers? No, I expect you'll go for more not-so-coherent ranting...

Look, whatever your problem is with the company, I'm sorry - maybe you were a customer who had a bad experience? Unfortunately, it does happen- with any and every service provider - but I'm afraid I don't see how it justifies your near-zealot style attack on Alltel...?

Anyway... My Circle is a good offer for some customers. It may not be for everyone, but for some, it's something relatively unheard of in the ...

The facts have been stated. Go back to answering calls in the call center (sorry AT&T Wireless laid you off.) Why does Alltel even need call centers? They have such a great billing system and "LARGE" network, you guys never get calls, oh wait, only customer call into pay bills. It is all perfect at Alltel. Go get Ty Pennington to "exteme makeover" your company. Wait, it will take more than a week to do, but at least he'll be on the biggest network, and get a ONE MINUTE CREDIT for the dropped calls.

Yes....let's copy a company that can't seem to stay in the black...just hold that reply, I'll get your facts straight for you.

Alltel owns and operates the largest wireless network in the United States. That is a fact.

Alltel has one of the lowest churn rates in the industry. I imagine that they will be gaining in size before long. The customer service has improved greatly in the last few years, and the service is outstanding. I haven't lost signal anywhere. Can't say that about Verizon, Cingular, TMO, or SunCom.

As far as total customers...you have to start somewhere...largest network in the U.S. is a good place.

Now...had you actually processed information like a normal human being, you would have noticed that I talked a...

Yeah, I used to notice a little loophole in the UN plan when I worked in a market where SunCom sold. They might switch you over to roaming in the middle of the call (and you would then get charged minutes) and you'd never know.

Used to do a lot of SunCom ports back in the day...

Done beating your e-peen yet? Ready to act like an adult?

Yes, they do know who I am in Little Rock. I have made a ton of contributions to this company. Not the least of which was used as the backbone for the "minute back" concept.

Fact of the matter is this, I used to work for SunCom, Verizon(GTE before that), Ntelos(and PrimeCo), TMO, and other indirect agents. I've been in this business for a long time. SunCom will not be a major player in the industry. Alltel will. They have all the right things going for them. The reason they don't have 50 million customers is simple..maybe I should spell it out for you...NY, LA, Miami... FCC regulations have kept other companies out of these markets for a while. As soon as the FCC opens...

Hm... quick search shows you are a retail rep yourself - or at least, that was recently your claim in another post - for a small wireless company (Suncom, based on your irritability in matters relating to that carrier). I'm quite shocked to see such unprofessionalism - to go as far as to insult someone's line of work (especially since they would be the equivelant of your boss) is simply distasteful.

Is this how your company would wish to be represented? I know in mine, it is policy that we are encouraged to point out clearly available facts (such as published rates and features), but we are encouraged to ensure that we never insult other carriers. I'm sure that your company has a similar policy. Hopefully in the future you can remain ...

If I wanted to insult Alltel, I would have done so already. I do business or have done business with SunCom in the past.

Your "policy", wow, I didn't know Alltel was run by the French. You have clearly demonstrated how a company can control its corporate culture and assimilate you to obey and take orders. Your submissive nature will get you far at Alltel. Just think, one day, you may get a window seat. Keep doing as you are told. I have in no way insulted Alltel. Have you ever heard of competition? No wait, in France, socialists do not believe in this-they own it all (or most of it anyway). In the US, we are capitalists, the way that has shaped the US since day one. In what way am "I" not professional? Who is using grammar su...

You are right. It is hard to communicate with someone at "your" level.

Such professional language as "assclown" would be something you would say. It's a good thing you have a GED and two years of experience. That's what is required for your job. Did you enjoy Radio Shack? Or Babbages?
