Am I the only one eXcited about this?!?!?!?
No buffering, it's digital, AND it's live! ! !
I'm actually waiting until THIS time next year, when DVB-H or Media FLO handsets are available in the U.S., I'm not even under contract right now, nor have I been for 6 months, bc nothing currently on the market appeals to me.

It's not just the ability to watch TV. Media flo will allow you to receive push email, constant weather sports scores and any other data you need. It will keep the cell frequencies less used so more spectrum for outgoing data and phone calls.

i dont see anywhere where it says you can do push email. can you please share with me?

this is true and very obvious.. it uses a totally differnt network from the cellular companies that it will offload tons of capacity so that the companies can focus on data a...

with mediaflo; there are only plans for tv content, no push emails at this time.

Not all that far in the future, no more, hopefully no more than 12 months at the most.
Qualcomm is working on setting up the transmitters right now. And of course Verizon has a different standard than THE REST OF THE WORLD called MediaFLO, which Qualcomm is also setting up right now, and is readying for 07.
