I'd have a lot more respect for Sprint if they didn't over promise and under deliver on everything they've done for the past 10 years.

Well...at least they're trying. I know... It's not much solace to those customers who have been on the short end...but they keep at it.

It must be working, sprint has won network awards according to root metrics 38 cities in the last 14 months for overall performance

lol, its definitely NOT working. Sprint is atrocious. It may work for people living in HIckory Stick, Arkansas, but 5 kbps download speeds are not acceptable to those of us in major cities. I will never have Sprint, but I love to laugh at people who do.
