I think this a exellent idea, it will give the small emerging companys that have a chance to get as big as sprint, tmobile and cingular a fighting chance to obtain the means to do so..at the same time it will stop attempts at monopoly by the major carriers...........................of course this is all based on of any1 cares or not

You forgot to add Verizon Wireless to the list of big giants. Verizon & Cingular (will be at&t if the Bellsouth buyout is approved) have one of the largest networks covering both rural & major cities. Sprint & T-Mobile cover primarily major cities with their PCS spectrum. Sprint could careless about rural markets, while T-Mobile now wants to obtain some of the ...

yah or government departments that will jack up the prises so the spectrum can go for more....
