I never comment on this site. I like to read the latest news regarding phones, carriers & the cell industry, but this has to be one of the most ignorant comments that I've read in a while. You take the news about free mobile roaming in Mexico & you twist it into racist commentary. Check your facts, the net number of undocumented people coming into the US has decreased in the last 7 years, and how is AT&T encouraging illegal immigration? Actually, their fully-owned prepaid division Cricket DOES in fact offer free voice/text/data roaming in Canada. Just returned from a Calgary to Vancouver drive where I had service almost the entire way. No charge. BTW, I can tell you living in Montana there A LOT of Canadians in the U.S. At times there can be more Albertans on I-15 than Montanans in our state.

Believe AT&T actually bought out a cellphone company in Mexico. Their using their newly purchase resource to offer free roaming to it's customers. Wish they would offer free roaming in Europe, but that will never happen. Guess we should consider ourselves lucky to get free texting overseas.
